What is the Daily Grooming Brush designed for?

Why are the pins 2.7 cm long?
The longer pins help the brush reach further through medium and long coats rather than grooming only the surface of the fur.
Why is there an empty hole in the brush cushion?
The small opening is intentional. It allows air to move in and out of the pneumatic cushion as you brush, helping the cushion flex naturally. It is not a missing pin or a product defect.
Is this the same as a slicker brush?
No. This brush uses longer, straight metal pins set into a cushioned base. The slicker uses finer angled pins and is better suited to lifting loose hair and working through smaller tangles.
Can it remove knots and mats?
It can help with very light tangles during routine brushing, but it is primarily an everyday grooming brush. More established knots should be loosened with an appropriate detangling tool rather than pulling this brush through them.
